Responsibilities:

Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and PL/SQL programming. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of PL/SQL code. Create, modify, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, views and triggers. Good knowledge of Utilize cursors for row-by-row data processing when necessary. Implement robust exception handling in PL/SQL programs. Perform code reviews and test PL/SQL code to ensure high performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance and data integrity. Implement database changes, enhancements, and new functionalities. Create and maintain documentation for database and development processes.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

5+ years of experience in database (Oracle) development. Proven track record of designing and implementing databases for large-scale migration projects.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL or other database query languages. Expertise in database design, normalization, indexing, and performance optimization. Experience with ETL processes, and migration tools.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
