Oracle Hyperion



We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on expertise in installation, development, administration, and support of Oracle Hyperion applications (Version 11 and above). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building financial planning systems, integrating with reporting tools, and ensuring secure, efficient system performance through patching and remediation.



Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase environments (Version 11+).



Develop and customize webforms and financial reports to support planning and forecasting processes.



Create, test, and optimize complex business rules and calculation scripts.



Extract, update, and manage metadata within the Hyperion environment.



Build, enhance, and support Smart View ad-hoc and pre-built reports.



Develop and troubleshoot drill-through reports for detailed financial analysis.



Translate functional business requirements into technical design specifications and process improvements.



Apply patches and coordinate with Oracle support to remediate system vulnerabilities and security issues.



Deliver performance tuning, production support, and system troubleshooting for Hyperion applications.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other platforms like OBIEE or Informatica.



Engage in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.



Communicate effectively with stakeholders across various management levels, presenting both technical and functional insights.



Mandatory Skills



Technical Skills 5+ years in Oracle Hyperion Planning & Essbase (Version 11+), business rules scripting, metadata management, Smart View & drill-through reports, patching/remediation experience.

Preferred: Unix/Linux OS, OBIEE, Informatica, strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
