Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials Functional Support Specialist
with strong expertise in
General Ledger (GL)
and
Financial Accounting Hub (FAH / Accounting Hub)
to support and implement key financial initiatives on the Oracle platform. This role supports rapid growth across multiple legal entities and ledgers, including the establishment of a
Bank Holding Company and Group Companies
.
The ideal candidate will possess strong
finance and accounting domain knowledge
combined with hands-on experience configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financial modules. This role requires close collaboration with finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, compliant, and efficient ERP solutions. Responsibilities include application design, configuration, testing, training, and ongoing production support.
This position supports financial business users across
North America and EMEA
and requires flexibility for late-night and weekend support during critical implementation or production cycles.
Key ResponsibilitiesOracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials Support (GL / FAH)
Provide functional support for
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financial modules
, primarily:
General Ledger (GL)
Financial Accounting Hub (FAH / Accounting Hub)
Subledger Accounting (SLA)
Reporting (OTBI, FRS, SmartView)
Analyze business requirements and design, configure, test, and deploy Oracle Financials enhancements.
Participate in Oracle Fusion Financials initiatives including
configuration, implementation, testing, UAT, and end-user training
.
Support GL close processes, accounting rules, journal processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Collaborate with upstream and downstream systems integrated with FAH.
Business Process & Continuous Improvement
Develop a deep understanding of
end-to-end accounting and financial close processes
and system integration points.
Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance usage of the Oracle Fusion ERP platform.
Promote Oracle-recommended and industry best practices.
Ensure solutions align with the company's
technology roadmap, accounting standards, and governance policies
.
Operational & Production Support
Provide day-to-day production support including:
Periodic patching and upgrades
Ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests
Issue troubleshooting and resolution
Coordinate with infrastructure, database, security, and operations teams to ensure stable ERP operations.
Support late-night production issues and weekend implementation activities as required.
Documentation & Stakeholder Collaboration
Produce detailed documentation, including:
Functional and system requirements
Data flow and integration diagrams
Process and swim-lane diagrams
Test plans and execution documentation
Work closely with internal and external Oracle teams to validate:
Functional and non-functional requirements
Accounting configurations and reporting outputs
Provide ongoing user training and functional guidance.

Experience & Knowledge Requirements
Minimum
5+ years of hands-on experience
with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials.
Strong functional expertise in
General Ledger and Accounting Hub / FAH
.
Solid understanding of
finance and accounting principles
, including accounting flows and financial close.
Ability to articulate
end-to-end business processes and integration touchpoints
.
Experience working with cross-functional teams across Finance, IT, and implementation partners.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of
Oracle Property Manager
is a plus.
Project management experience using
MS Project
is a plus.
Required Skills & Abilities
Proven Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation experience across Financial modules including:
General Ledger
Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)
Subledger Accounting (SLA)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex accounting and system concepts clearly.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Functional leadership in identifying and implementing new Oracle Financial modules.
Minimum
3+ years of TOAD / SQL experience
