Intro

The Oracle EPM Specialist is a member of the CSC Corporate Finance team reporting to the Senior Finance Manager - EPM System Product Owner. This position will work closely with Corporate, Shared Services and Business Unit Finance teams to support and execute the needs of the Enterprise through our Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) application.

Some of the things you will be doing:

\xc2\xb7 Serve as an EPM business partner for the Accounting, Tax, and Financial Planning & Analysis teams, both corporate and within the individual business units

\xc2\xb7 Act as a point person for questions related to Oracle EPM Financial Consolidation & Close (FCC), Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Planning & Budgeting Cloud (PBC) and supporting applications

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain Web Reporting Studio reports and dashboards

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain Forms and related artifacts

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain Business Rules and Rule Sets (Classic and Groovy)

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain Data Management mappings and integrations

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain security groups and user access

\xc2\xb7 Gather requirements and develop solutions for process improvements and solutions

\xc2\xb7 Assist in EPM and EPM-related projects of all sizes

\xc2\xb7 Assist in developing Service Now and SailPoint processes for EPM related requests

\xc2\xb7 Support EPM related monthly close activities including but not limited to executing feeds, confirming data ties out between applications, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate and update dimension members and related metadata items in EDM, FCC, and PBC

\xc2\xb7 Develop training, how-to guides, and FAQ materials

\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot user errors and issues

\xc2\xb7 Partner with FinTech, PMO, Change Management, and external consultants on system changes and enhancements

\xc2\xb7 Ensure changes are correctly executed and documented according to internal and external controls

\xc2\xb7 Cross-train and serve as a backup for other team members

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

\xc2\xb7 3+ years\' experience with administering Oracle EPM, Hyperion, or similar accounting and planning application(s) including report building and rule creation

\xc2\xb7 5+ years\' experience as a power user of Oracle EPM, Hyperion, or similar accounting and planning application(s)

\xc2\xb7 Expert level Microsoft Excel skills

\xc2\xb7 Expert level Smart View skills

\xc2\xb7 Intermediate level Visual Basic skills (primarily used in Microsoft Excel)

\xc2\xb7 Intermediate level skills for creating business rules

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of EBS, NetSuite, SAP S4, or similar ERP application

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Service Now, SailPoint, or similar ticketing application

\xc2\xb7 Thorough understanding of financial metrics and accounting concepts.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to analyze, compile, interpret and summarize data from multiple sources and develop recommendations.

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated with ability to operate independently or within a team structure.

\xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and process improvement skills with attention to detail.

\xc2\xb7 Superior communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the company, with a strong focus on senior management.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to manage multiple projects, shift priorities and meet deadlines.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated patience and a willingness to help others
