What success looks like in this role:

• Leader of small team/mentor. \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-directed within management guidelines. May give direction. \xe2\x80\xa2 May define some processes. Research new technologies and testing methodologies. Capture actual efforts in status reports. Report, submit and track defects in programs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze technical requirements in area of expertise and inputs to proposed solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct technical feasibility studies with assistance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Design components of products, solutions or test cases at product level. Write product specifications, design documents or test plans. Participate in the identification of the testing configuration for the overall solution \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement components of products or solutions. Implements complex features or test cases. Prepare user documentation or provide inputs for creating user documentation as required. Develop quality components and ensure that created module meets all performance, quality, reliability and functional requirements by analyzing and debugging issues. May be required to modify any written code as necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop test plans for assigned products, product areas, or solutions. Write/run tests. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review design specs and develops plan for testing a product. Execute tests at the product level. Lead system set-up and maintenance efforts. \xe2\x80\xa2 In-depth analysis and debug of problems. Recommend suggested solutions to problems. Proficient in the analysis of diagnostic traces. Assist vendors in problem resolution. \xe2\x80\xa2 Fix defects in broad areas of code. Solve complex problems with some assistance. Assist/Train others. Review external customer User Communication Forms (UCF\xe2\x80\x99s) for specific products and update or create new test cases as appropriate. \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle Contacts and UCF\xe2\x80\x99s in multiple product areas. Expedite resolutions. Identify product supportability improvement opportunities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate effectively in virtual teams. Understand regional cultural considerations and form tight working relationships. \xe2\x80\xa2 Expected to learn new technologies and continue to expand expertise. \xe2\x80\xa2 Participates in Innovation activities by commenting and generating ideas. Can lead a small team working on an innovative idea. Creation of Knowledge Documents.

You will be successful in this role if you have: \xe2\x80\xa2 Computer Science/EE undergraduate degree, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge. \xe2\x80\xa2 A minimum of 5-8 years of experience within a software or systems engineering organization with high level expertise in a specific solution/technology. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understand Product Life Cycle management in a systems engineering environment, with focus on agile methodologies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work in a global team, with multiple stakeholders across functions and geographical regions \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to communicate task, requirements, design information with clients \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of Engineering Concepts \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactive, analytical and capable of influencing and providing decision support \xe2\x80\xa2 Team Player, leader and mentor. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good command over English language
