The Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant is responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial modules. The role involves working closely with business users to gather requirements, design solutions, configure applications, and ensure smooth financial process operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyse business requirements for Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, etc.).
Configure and customise Oracle EBS Finance modules to meet business needs.
Participate in system upgrades, patching, and testing activities.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12 Financial modules.
Well versed with modules: GL, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, I-expense, I-receivables, I-Suppliers, Purchasing, Project Accounting, Cash Management, EBTax and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
Experience in understanding and debugging issues in seeded as well as custom concurrent programs, peripheral integrations (e.g. bank integrations) etc.
Knowledge of RICE components would be an added advantage
Experience of the Hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
