We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
Providing full scope of the day to day Production Support service including resolution of the live incidents as well as post-resolution problem management activities,
You will play the role of ORACLE DB SME and provide technical expertise in finding root cause of major system problems, and suggesting the most efficient solutions.
You will be responsible for doing the automation of repetitive manual tasks using Ansible and scripting.
Support of the various testing activities related to the new implementations.
Working closely with various stakeholders located in different places in the world
Reviewing, designing and re-engineering processes with new technologies to improve `performance
Designing and driving the implementation of service offerings, capability uplifts.
You are expected to participate in the technical innovation within your product area.
Qualifications - External
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database concepts and Architecture

Should be strong in Database backup and restore/recovery procedures via RMAN, data pump.
Should have good experience in Database Migration and upgradation.
Should be well-versed in performing DB DRE(Switchover/Switchback) related activities.
Should have good understanding about Data Guard architecture and be able to troubleshoot the Data Guard sync issues independently.
Experience in trouble shooting database performance tuning(Long running SQL queries/sessions) and DB instance optimization techniques.
Should have good hands-on experience with Oracle Goldengate.
Should have good exposure in Oracle RAC cluster and should be capable to troubleshoot the cluster issues independently. * Should be familiar with Database Patching including both stand alone and cluster related databases
