Job Title: Oracle DBA

Skillsets:
. Oracle DBA with core admin skills and hands-on.
. Oracle RAC experience / hands-on is a must, sound technical knowledge of RAC technology.
. Oracle data guard experience is a must, very good understanding of Oracle data guard.
. Must know Oracle backup and recovery scenarios, RMAN techniques.
. Working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Wallet, Partitions.
. Working knowledge of Oracle Performance tuning scenarios and fixes.
. Oracle database migration using XTS/GG etc..
. Oracle Golden Gate expertise.
. Better understanding of query plan/SQL profile/Base line/Query Tuning.
. PDB Cloning, Snapshot cloning, Storage cloning.
. DB Patching/Grid Patching/Bug Fixes.
. Expert in at least 2-3 different Oracle internal streams.
. Good troubleshooting skills.
Skillsets - Desirable
. Understanding of RDS database / cloud based data based solutions.
. Experience working in banking / digital infrastructure - database ecosystem
. Understanding of ITIL process
Roles & Responsibilities
. Install, configure, manage and maintain multiple Oracle databases.
. Perform operational procedures and support (including data modelling, replication, administration, maintenance, capacity planning, space management and recovery).
. Understanding of the governance required to retain non-production availability (incl checks, patching, capacity management, security).
. Work closely with infrastructure and application leads to design and implement database solutions.
. Identify and implement strategies for database performance enhancement initiatives.
. Support the database infrastructure within the bank.
. Responsibilities include ensuring the provision of Oracle DBA cover, workload management and analysis of non-production changes.
. Provide consultancy support and involve in war room discussions during major incidents.
. Actively support database infrastructure migration programs in the bank.
. Identify application related tuning requirements and support the implementation as part of the Bank's SIU initiatives.
. Be the primary Oracle database architect.
