Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). Key Responsibilities o Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database servers (11g/12c/19c). o Monitor and optimize database performance, tuning SQL queries, and managing indexes. o Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning using RMAN/Data Guard. o Implement database security policies, user access management, and auditing. o Manage database storage, partitions, tablespaces, and performance statistics. o Troubleshoot database issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. o Support development teams with database design, queries, and PL/SQL optimization. o Plan and execute database patches, upgrades, and migrations. o Maintain high availability and ensure business continuity. o Document database configurations, processes, and procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications o Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. o 5+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience. o Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/19c/21c architecture and administration. o Proficiency in RMAN, Data Guard, ASM, OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager). o Solid experience with backup/recovery, performance tuning, and query optimization. o Hands-on expertise in PL/SQL development. o Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation. o Experience in handling production databases with high availability (RAC preferred). o Familiarity with cloud-hosted Oracle environments (OCI, AWS RDS for Oracle, or Azure). Good to Have (Optional) o Exposure to GoldenGate for replication. o Experience with Oracle Exadata. o Knowledge of NoSQL/Big Data integrations. o Certification (OCP / OCA) preferred. Soft Skills o Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. o Excellent communication and documentation abilities. o Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. o Strong commitment to deadlines and service-level agreements (SLAs).
