Job Description

Key Responsibilities (Functional - Oracle DBA)Installations and configuration of Oracle Databases on various flavors of UNIX, LINUX and Windows environments in standalone, RAC environment, Standby/Data guard databases.Experience on MySQL/MongoDB DB will be a added advantage.Should have strong knowledge on Database Upgrade, Migration, Patch Installation and Implementation.Cloning of Production Instance to UAT/Dev.Strong Knowledge on RMAN Backup & recovery management and troubleshooting the backup issues.Strong knowledge on schema and tables refresh by using datapump, and different methods in datapump.Should have knowledge on sql query tuning and troubleshooting long running queries.Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentationUser / Schema Creation, User Management, granting Roles and Privileges and creating profiles.Regularly updating the database security protocolsData base optimization and ehancement of performanceBasic Shell scripting.Creating storage database structures with high-level security featuresAltering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company.
Setting up database user accountsFinding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrityKnowledge of programming languages and API. Ability to visualize algorithmic structures Key Performance IndicatorsProblem determination and resolution within SLA's.High quality of all deliverablesUnderstand complex problem solving techniques dealing with systems engineering and supportKeep the Leads informed of task accomplishment, issues and status.taking ownership of issue's Continuous improvement Oracle License understanding Reduce verbal requests for support

Pay: ?1,000,000.00 - ?1,300,000.00 per year
