Description

The IT Operations Engineer supports in the delivery of tasks and activities that manage customer / business / user needs (regarding IT requirements) and ensure customer satisfaction with Vodafones IT products and services in line with Customer Services Management strategy. The IT Operations Engineer conveys a good understanding of established concepts and procedures regarding administrating and maintaining assigned applications, services, systems and solutions, incident management, problem management, change and release management and some vendor management, through the delivery of defined activities. Roles & Responsibilities

Experience: 1.5yrs \xe2\x80\x93 12yrs
Location: Pune
An experienced Application DBA professional with experience ranging from 1.5 to 12yrs in database administration on Oracle + Aurora (PostgreSQL)/ Cassandra/GoldenGate/Informix/Percona/MongoDB/Exadata. Has to be an individual contributor and willing to support Oracle & non-oracle databases. Expectations in Aurora (PostgreSQL/Cassandra/Goldengate/MongoDB/Exadata).

• Experience in configuration of database & operational support.
• Well versed in Memory Architecture, Storage Architecture & Cluster Architecture.
• Experience in Data Replication, Transaction consistency.
• User Access Management and Security audit.
• SQL query Tuning. Database upgradation/Migration along with integration with other RDBMS/non RDBMS databases from AURORA.
• Oracle Golden Gate 10g/11g/12c DBA, installation, replication, and implementation.
• Administered Production Databases & have knowledge of different Oracle versions from 9i to 11g and golden gate.
• Database Administration and Architecture along with experience in Golden Gate.
• Working experience on Google or AWS cloud.
• Aurora /Oracle ADBA+ PostgreSQL.
• Aurora /Oracle ADBA+ Cassandra.
• Aurora + Oracle ADBA.
• Oracle ADBA+GoldenGate.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Manager, RAC, Performance Tuning, Database Development.
• Should have knowledge of Active-Passive Cluster. Support Database Operations with working close to application team.
• Should have worked with tools like Remedy, Oracle Enterprise manager, Oracle Support.
• Should accomplish on call support for Database during peak times & ready to work in 24/7 environment.
• Oracle Exadata Database Administrator on Linux, UNIX with experience in Oracle 11g, 12c and above.
• At least 2 years working experience with patching, database support in ODA environment on Exadata.
• Relevant Experience with Mongo Atlas & Ops Manager Administrations on AWS or any of the cloud platforms like GCP, AZURE. Responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of clusters of MongoDB instances.
