Job Description

We are hiring a

Database Engineer

to join our CBFSS development team in Kochi. In this role, you will be responsible for

database design, migration, performance optimization, high availability, disaster recovery, and security

in a large-scale fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure, and optimized database solutions for fintech applications. Manage

data migration

across platforms and ensure data integrity. Monitor and optimize

SQL queries

for maximum performance. Implement

HA/DR solutions

to ensure business continuity. Work with

cloud-based databases

and ensure compliance with security standards. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support core banking product development. Maintain documentation and follow best practices in database administration and development.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum

3 years of hands-on experience

as a Database Engineer or DBA. Strong expertise in

PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB

. Proven experience in

SQL performance tuning and data migration

. Knowledge of

cloud database services (AWS, Azure, GCP)

. Experience in setting up and maintaining

HA/DR solutions

. Exposure to

BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance)

domain preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
