Role description

Over 5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with equally strong expertise in Unix/Linux administration. Solid understanding of Unix/Linux shell scripting alongside comprehensive knowledge of Oracle database concepts. Skilled in installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle databases, with a focus on performance tuning, optimization, security, and compliance.



Experienced in cloning, patching, upgrades, integration, and customization support, as well as monitoring, issue resolution, disaster recovery, and high availability implementations. Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, OAF, and XML Publisher. Well-versed in Oracle Workflow, APIs, and interfaces.



Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux activities including creating SSH keys, configuring SFTP sites, managing print queues, performing tape backups using Tivoli, writing shell scripts, and monitoring Unix file systems. Familiar with AIX environments and capable of adapting to shift work schedules.



Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication and documentation skills ensure clear and effective knowledge sharing.
