Primary Skill Sets:

Proficiency in Oracle Database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, and 19c. Strong understanding of Oracle Database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques. Experience in database backup and recovery strategies, including Oracle RMAN, Data Pump, and flashback technologies. Knowledge of Oracle Database security best practices and implementation of security controls, such as encryption, access controls, and auditing. Expertise in Oracle Database installation, patching, upgrades, and migration activities. Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for database monitoring, management, and automation. Ability to troubleshoot database issues, diagnose performance problems, and implement corrective actions. Experience in designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Oracle Data Guard and Oracle RAC. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Secondary Skill Sets:

Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Autonomous Database services. Experience with Oracle Exadata Database Machine administration and management. Knowledge of database virtualization technologies, such as Oracle VM and Oracle Container Database (CDB). Understanding of database consolidation and multi-tenancy concepts using Oracle Multitenant architecture. Experience with database automation tools and scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting. Familiarity with database performance monitoring and diagnostic tools, such as Oracle Enterprise Manager Diagnostics Pack. Exposure to other database technologies, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, is a plus. Understanding of database cloud migration strategies and methodologies. Certification in Oracle Database administration, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), is desirable.
