Job Opening: Oracle DBA

• Role: Oracle Database Administrator (Contract Role -)
• Experience: 6-8 Years
• Location: Kolkata
• Contract Duration: 6 months to 3 years
• Work Arrangement: Onsite

: We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to oversee our database operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience managing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle databases to ensure data integrity, availability, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database environments.
• Perform database tuning, optimization, and capacity planning to meet performance standards.
• Monitor database performance, implement backup and recovery solutions, and manage high-availability configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and manage disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams to design database architectures that meet business requirements.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and manage user access.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience: 6-8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in production environments.
• Skills:

• Expertise in Oracle database administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and ASM.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Communication: Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex database issues.
• Teamwork: Works well in a collaborative environment.
