Position: Oracle Database Administrator (C++)

Experience: 4+ Years

Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Gurgaon

Notice period: 15 Days

Work mode: Hybrid

Job Type: FTE/C2H

Interview rounds: 2 + Client round

Must have skills:

Oracle- DBA Oracle, Strong SQL , Basic Knowledge of Data base

Database Support & Maintenance

Manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases; ensure database reliability, availability, and performance. Perform daily health checks, backup & recovery operations, and database upgrades. Perform installation, compliance, patching, backup/recovery, and security management.

Application & System Support

Provide technical support for applications built in C++ running on Linux environments. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, root cause analysis, and apply corrective actions. Collaborate with peripheral teams to monitor and optimize new releases. Monitor batch jobs and workflows using Control-M. Troubleshoot failed jobs and ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks.

Incident & Problem Management

Work closely with business and stakeholders to understand support requirements and deliver high-quality resolutions. Monitor system alerts and proactively address potential incidents before they impact business operations.
