As a Senior Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Technical Consultant, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of Oracle Cloud PaaS integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM) and external systems. You will provide day-to-day support and quality assurance for a variety of customers. You will work closely with Technical Leads, Functional Leads, and Client Stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and performant integration solutions leveraging OIC, Oracle SaaS APIs, and complementary OCI services.
This role demands strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Visual Builder, and exposure to technologies such as Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle API Gateway, and OCI Vault. You are expected to mentor junior developers, own technical deliverables, and drive best practices for integration and automation.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot production issues and persistent problems and work with key stakeholders to address the root causes in OIC.
Design, build and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) including Application Integration (Orchestration), Scheduled Integrations, and File-based Integrations
Develop and support REST/SOAP-based integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM) and on-premises/cloud applications
Implement B2B flows (if applicable), error handling, retry mechanisms, and OIC monitoring/logging best practices
Support all aspects of Cloud Quarterly Releases form Impact Assessment through testing and defect support on technical components
Utilise Oracle Visual Builder for custom UIs and Oracle Process Automation (OPA) for workflow orchestration (where needed)
Work with Oracle SaaS services (ERP, HCM, SCM) to consume OTBI, BICC, FBDI, HDL, and PVOs for integration scenarios
Design and configure security components such as OCI Vault, Secrets, Certificates, and OAuth2 flows
Collaborate with clients on data mapping, transformation logic, and interface contracts
Drive performance tuning and optimisation for long-running integrations and large payload handling
Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and guide junior developers and offshore teams
Prepare design documents, integration specifications, and deployment artefacts
Support DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation for OIC code promotion (optional but desirable)
Qualifications
A minimum of 6+ years' experience as a technical support analyst or similar role.
Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud experience.
Oracle ERP and HCM integration delivery using Oracle Integration Cloud
Experience of system interfaces (predominantly on a PaaS Cloud)
Provide expert-level technical knowledge in Oracle PaaS products, including OIC, VBCS, PCS/OPA, ATP, and others.
Experience building integration in OIC using REST/SOAP Services.
Experience building integrations in OIC, building and Uploading FBDI Files to Oracle ERP Cloud
Knowledge of Oracle Interface tables in financial and procurement modules.
Hands-On Experience of XSLT
Hands-On Experience on data migration/integration methods i.e. SOAP and Rest Web Services, FBDI and ADF DI
Hands-On Experience on reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher
Hands-On development of packages and functions using SQL/PLSQL and exposing them as REST using ORDS.
Good Knowledge on building custom ESS jobs
Hands-on with development & unit testing of integration components & web services (SOAP/REST) using OIC
Hands-on with development & unit testing of VBCS components
Hands-on with development & unit testing of ADF components using Jdeveloper
Technical requirements: OIC, FBDI files, OTBI Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle BI Publisher, VBCS, PCS/OPA, ATP & Cloud knowledge
Must have good experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions
ITIL process Knowledge
Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot and support complex system customisations
Willingness to operate and progress in areas that are outside of previous experience
Ability to multi-task and prioritise across concurrent workload may be required.

Required Skills and Experience:
6+ years' experience in Oracle integration technologies, including 3+ years in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Strong knowledge of Oracle SaaS APIs (ERP/HCM/SCM), including REST/SOAP endpoints, security tokens, and web service catalogues
Experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and BICC data extract integration
Hands-on expertise in XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, SOAP, REST, and SQL
Familiarity with Oracle SaaS data models and common business processes (e.g., AP/AR/PO/GL, HCM/Payroll)
Experience with OIC connectivity to external platforms (e.g., Azure, SAP, Salesforce, Workday)
Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2, Basic, API Key) and OCI Vault management
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging OIC flows using diagnostic logs, audit trails, and activity streams
Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and ability to lead technical discussions
Experience with Oracle Visual Builder
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Oracle Process Automation (OPA)
Experience with Oracle Cloud DevOps pipelines or Jenkins/GitHub CI-CD for OIC promotion
Hands-On Experience on reporting tools such as Smart View and FRS reports
Technical requirements: BPM workflows, Application Composer, OBIEE/OBIA/OAC
