: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer (5-7 Years Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer with 5-7 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure design, automation, and OCI platform services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing OCI-based solutions that are secure, scalable, cost-optimized, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
OCI Infrastructure Design & DeploymentDesign, implement, and manage scalable OCI architectures including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Database services. Build and manage OCI Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnets, gateways, route tables, DNS, and load balancers. Deploy and maintain OCI Compute instances, Autonomous Databases, Block Volumes, File Storage, and Object Storage.

Security & ComplianceImplement IAM policies, dynamic groups, compartments, network security groups (NSGs), and security lists. Ensure platform compliance with security standards (ISO, SOC, NIST, CIS OCI benchmarks). Configure encryption, key management (OCI KMS), and audit/logging.

Automation & DevOpsAutomate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, or Ansible. Implement CI/CD pipelines using OCI DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab. Monitor and optimize environment using OCI Monitoring, Logging, Alarms, and Observability tools.

Performance & Cost OptimizationMonitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and cost. Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost forecasting. Recommend and implement autoscaling, right-sizing, and reserved capacity strategies.

Operations & SupportProvide support for OCI issues, including incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Manage backup and recovery policies, Disaster Recovery (DR), and high availability (HA) configurations. Support database migrations and application deployments on OCI.

Collaboration & DocumentationMaintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Participate in cloud strategy discussions and contribute to best practices and governance.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5-7 years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 3+ years in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Strong hands-on experience with key OCI services:

o Compute, Storage, Networking, Load Balancers
o IAM, KMS, Secrets Management
o Oracle Base DB/Autonomous DB/MySQL DB Systems
o OCI Monitoring, Logging, Events & AlarmsKnowledge in Terraform for IaC; experience with OCI Resource Manager preferred. Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting. Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (DNS, VPN, IPSec, Fast-Connect, Firewalls etc).

Preferred QualificationsOCI Architect Professional or OCI Architect Associate Certification. Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
