Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and administer
Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/R12.2)
environments
Perform
Oracle Apps cloning
, refresh, and environment management (DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD)
Apply
Oracle Apps patches
, AD/TXK patches, and security updates
Manage
Oracle database administration
including backup, recovery, and performance tuning
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Oracle Apps and database
Handle
user management, responsibilities, and security
in Oracle EBS
Work on
start/stop of application services
, concurrent manager tuning, and workflow issues
Support
upgrades, migrations, and DR activities
Coordinate with functional teams, infrastructure, and vendors for issue resolution
Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting
Required Skills & Qualifications
4+ years of experience as an
Oracle Apps DBA
Strong experience with
Oracle E-Business Suite R12/R12.2
Good knowledge of
Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c)
Experience in
patching, cloning, backup & recovery (RMAN)
Hands-on experience with
Linux/Unix
environments
Knowledge of
AutoConfig, AD utilities, OAM
, and WebLogic (R12.2)
Ability to troubleshoot performance and application issues
Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience with
DR drills and HA setups
Exposure to
Cloud environments (OCI/AWS/Azure)
Knowledge of
Shell scripting
Oracle certifications (Apps DBA / Database)
Educational Qualification
