Role and responsibilities


Design and develop scalable and maintainable Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements

and specifications.


Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and define

application requirements.


Create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and productivity.


Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present complex information in a clear

and actionable manner.


Implement data integration and manipulation within APEX applications, utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, and other

relevant technologies.


Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APEX applications, including debugging and performance

optimization.


Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Oracle APEX development and

application design.


Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to

coding standards.


Collaborate with the database team to ensure proper data modeling and optimization for APEX

applications.


Document technical specifications, user guides, and any other relevant documentation.


Maintain and support existing APEX applications, including addressing bug fixes and implementing

enhancements.


Keep track of project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Technical skills requirements


Proven experience of 5+ years in designing and developing Oracle APEX applications.


Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database development and manipulation.


Proven experience of 2+ years in Agile Scrum Methodology.


Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.


Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.


Knowledge of software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.


Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.


Prior experience in working on projects that involve integration with Oracle databases is a plus.


Oracle APEX certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
