Job Title: Optometrist

Location: Gorakhpur and Nearby Locations

Job Purpose:

The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, providing vision testing, and assisting in eye health camps in peripheral areas. The role requires delivering professional eye care services and supporting outreach programs to enhance community eye health.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and eye health.

- Prescribe corrective lenses, glasses, or other eye treatments as needed.

- Assist in organizing and conducting eye health camps in remote or peripheral areas.

- Educate patients about eye care, hygiene, and preventive measures.

- Maintain accurate patient records and document findings.

- Collaborate with the medical team to refer patients for further treatment if needed.

- Assist in setting up equipment and ensuring the availability of necessary tools during camps.

- Support community outreach initiatives aimed at increasing awareness about eye health.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification.

- Proven experience in eye care, preferably with experience in field camps or outreach programs.

- Good knowledge of eye examination techniques and vision correction procedures.

- Excellent communication skills and patient management skills.

- Ability to travel to peripheral areas and work in outdoor camp settings.

- Gender Preference: Male candidates are preferred due to field camp requirements.

- Valid registration or license to practice as an Optometrist.
