Job Description

optometrist

is responsible for providing comprehensive vision care, which includes:

Conducting eye inspections

to identify signs of disease or injury.

1 Assessing patients' eyes

to diagnose vision defects, diseases, and injuries.

1 Prescribing corrective lenses

such as eyeglasses and contact lenses.

1 Maintaining medical files

and recording treatment plans.

1 Performing vision tests

and providing rehabilitation or therapy for vision issues.
