Job Description

Conduct eye exams

: Perform comprehensive eye tests to assess vision, eye health, and overall visual functioning using advanced diagnostic equipment.

Prescribe corrective lenses

: Based on eye tests, prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction solutions.

Diagnose visual problems and eye conditions

: Identify common conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia, cataracts, glaucoma, and other eye diseases.

Treatment and management

: Offer treatments for various visual impairments and eye conditions, and refer patients to ophthalmologists for further treatment when necessary.

Patient counseling

: Provide advice on vision care, eye health, and preventive measures to patients, including contact lens care and regular eye exams.

Maintain accurate records

: Document patient history, diagnosis, treatments, and any follow-up care in electronic health records
