Job Description

Performing comprehensive eye exams to diagnose vision problems and diseases, prescribing and fitting corrective lenses, and providing patient education on eye health. They also manage a patient's eye and vision care, maintain accurate medical records, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary. Key responsibilities

Conducting examinations:

Perform routine and comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity, eye health, and binocular vision.

Diagnosing and treating conditions:

Identify and manage vision problems like nearsightedness, color blindness, and diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts.

Prescribing treatments:

Prescribe and fit corrective lenses (like glasses and contact lenses) and other vision aids.

Patient education:

Advise patients on proper eye care techniques, hygiene, and preventive measures to maintain good eye health.

Maintaining records:

Keep accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Collaborating with other professionals:

Work with ophthalmologists, opticians, and other healthcare providers for coordinated patient care.

Referring patients:

Refer patients to ophthalmologists or other specialists when more specialized treatment or surgery is needed.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
