Responsibilities
To perform Professional Eye Examination/check-up of patients .
Communicating with all patients to get detailed case histories
Examining the eyes of patients of all ages to detect signs of injury, disease, abnormality or vision defects.
Using specialist equipment for diagnosis and testing
Issuing prescriptions for spectacles or contact lenses.
Fitting and checking prescribed lenses to correct vision defects
Offering advice for patients choosing frames and lenses.
Offering advice and reassurance about vision related matters.
Assisting other Doctors and staff in the hospital
Maintenance of optometry equipment
Excellent Customer Service & organization skills
