Job Description

Conduct eye exams to diagnose vision problems and recommend appropriate treatments. Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses or contact lenses. Dispense optical devices based on patient needs and prescriptions. Perform refractions to determine accurate lens power for each patient. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient exams, test results, and treatment plans. Educate patients on eye care, lens usage, and general vision health. Identify and manage common eye conditions like myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, etc. Refer patients to ophthalmologists or specialists when necessary. Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry through workshops, courses, or seminars. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards in optical practice.
