qualified and enthusiastic Optometrist

to join our expert team.

Position: Optometrist

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

comprehensive eye examinations

, including

refraction

Identify and diagnose refractive errors

such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia. Conduct

specialized diagnostic tests

(e.g.,

OCT, Fundus Photography, Visual Fields, Topography, A-Scan

) as part of pre- and post-operative evaluations. Assist ophthalmologists in

pre-operative ans post operative patient counseling

, educating patients about surgical procedures (e.g., cataract, LASIK, glaucoma, retina surgeries), expected outcomes, and post-operative care protocols. Provide

post-operative care support

including vision assessments and patient education on medication adherence and recovery timelines. Ensure

accurate and timely documentation

of all clinical findings, diagnostic test results, and patient history in accordance with

JCI documentation and safety standards

. Participate in

clinical audits, infection control measures, and quality improvement initiatives

as per JCI protocols. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and uphold the

highest standards of patient safety and clinical ethics

and entry in EMR software. Educate patients on proper

contact lens care, spectacle usage, and general eye health practices

. Collaborate with the clinical team to support smooth functioning of opd.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution Registration with the Optometry Council is preferred. Freshers and experienced candidates (up to 5 years) are welcome to apply Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical setting
