Key Responsibilities

1. Eye Examination & Diagnosis

Conduct vision tests and eye examinations to identify refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, etc.). Perform detailed eye assessments using instruments such as retinoscope, auto-refractometer, slit lamp, tonometer, and lensometer. Diagnose basic eye conditions such as dry eyes and infections, and refer complex or critical cases to ophthalmologists.

2. Prescription & Optical Support

Prescribe appropriate spectacles or contact lenses based on examination results. Guide patients on lens types, frame selection, and lens coatings. Adjust, fit, and repair eyewear when required.
