Job Title: Optometrist

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Optometrist to join our eye care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining patients' eyes, diagnosing vision problems, and prescribing corrective lenses or treatments. This role plays a vital part in promoting eye health and preventing vision-related complications.

Required Qualification:

Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom)

or

Diploma in Optometry

Registration with relevant medical council or board (as per local regulations) Clinical experience in hospital or optical practice preferred
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests Diagnose refractive errors, eye diseases, and visual impairments Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and low vision aids Refer patients to ophthalmologists for advanced care when needed Educate patients on eye health, hygiene, and preventive care Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans Assist in fitting and adjusting optical devices Participate in eye camps, screenings, and community outreach programs
Skills Required:

Strong clinical knowledge of ocular anatomy and visual disorders Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (retinoscope, slit lamp, autorefractor, etc.) Excellent communication and patient counseling skills Attention to detail and ethical practice Ability to work collaboratively with medical and support staff

Pay: ₹9,657.59 - ₹20,020.89 per month
