Call the patient after their turn
Explain the patients the need and importance of the NCT /AR procedure
Clear the doubts of patients politely
Clean and disinfect the NCT/AR Machine in front of patient
Change the chin rest paper for each patient
Follow the 5 step accuracy protocol for Refraction
Intimate the Lasik counseling department if patient have Lasik suitable power and direct patient to Lasik counseling
Take the Patient history
Perform vision tests and analyze results
Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness and eye diseases, such as glaucoma
Provide treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation
Provide pre- and post operative care to patients undergoing eye surgery\xe2\x80\x94for example, examining a patient\xe2\x80\x99s eyes the day after surgery
Evaluate patients for the presence of diseases such as diabetes.
Promote eye health by counseling patients, including explaining how to clean and wear contact lenses
Give training to the interns and B Sc students about the procedures in their posting place
Record the leave details of the B Sc students those have posting in the hospital
Discuss requirement, problems & improvements to be made in the weekly optometry meeting
IPD marking and complaint management
Dilated Examinations \xe2\x80\x93 DR, CR
Instrument management \xe2\x80\x93 Keratometer, Synoptophore, OCT, FFA AND B-SCAN
Any other responsibility assigned by the management
