Optometrist
Accurately measure visual acuity, near vision, and binocular vision.
Recommend appropriate corrective lenses based on the refraction test results.
Provide advice on lens types and frame styles according to the patient's lifestyle and needs.
Offer customer wide range of frames and suggest them selecting suitable lens.
Educate patients on eye health, proper eyewear usage, and lens care.
Manage portable diagnostic instruments like retinoscopes, autorefractors, trial lenses ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding their eye health or eyewear prescriptions.
Ensure a professional and comforting environment during home visits.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of optometry and refraction techniques.
Proficiency in handling portable diagnostic equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients in-home settings.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during visits.
Attention to detail in prescribing eyewear and managing records.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Optometry or a related field.
Certification in refraction techniques.
Previous experience in conducting eye tests and refractions.
Additional Considerations:
Willingness to travel within a specific area for home visits.
Valid driving license and/or access to transportation.
