Optometry Interns

to join our team at Eye Mantra in Ghaziabad. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in conducting eye exams, assisting with diagnosing visual conditions, prescribing corrective lenses under supervision, and supporting patient care. This internship is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge in a professional setting while working alongside experienced optometrists.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in Eye Exams:

+ Assist Senior Optometrists in performing eye exams, refraction tests, and using diagnostic equipment.
+ Provide basic tests such as visual acuity checks, color vision tests, and basic ocular health assessments.
+ Prepare patients for exams and assist with the application of contact lenses or glasses fittings under supervision.

Patient Care Support:

+ Educate patients on proper eye care practices and corrective lens usage.
+ Help maintain patient records and document their eye health assessments.
+ Participate in follow-up care and provide routine eye care advice.

Equipment Handling & Maintenance:

+ Assist in the operation and maintenance of diagnostic equipment, including slit-lamp machines, autorefractors, and tonometers.
+ Learn and apply best practices for using optometry equipment under senior guidance.

Requirements:

Education:

+ Bachelor's degree in Optometry (B.Optom).
+ Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Skills:

+ Basic knowledge of optometry practices and eye health.
+ Ability to assist in conducting eye exams, operating diagnostic equipment, and maintaining patient records.
+ Strong desire to learn and develop skills in optometry under senior supervision.
