to join our Vision Centre at Tauru. The role involves conducting OPD consultations, participating in outreach eye camps, and supporting patients in receiving quality eye care services as per organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive
eye examinations
for patients visiting the Vision Centre.
Assess
refractive errors
, prescribe corrective lenses, and assist in counselling patients regarding surgical and non-surgical options.
Manage OPD flow
efficiently, ensuring smooth patient handling and proper documentation.
Participate actively in
community outreach programs and camps
, including pre-screening, vision testing, and referral of patients to the base hospital when needed.
Provide
post-operative follow-up
and patient education as instructed by the medical team.
Maintain accurate
patient records
, reports, and inventory at the centre.
Coordinate with the base hospital team for referrals, tele-consultations, and feedback.
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, hygiene standards, and patient care guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in
Optometry
from a recognized institute.
Registration with the relevant Optometry Council (if applicable).
Strong clinical and communication skills.
Willingness to travel for
outreach camps
and community programs.
Male candidates only
, as per role requirement.
Local candidates or those willing to relocate to Tauru will be preferred.
