Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused

Optometrist

to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, assisting ophthalmologists, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

comprehensive eye examinations

including refraction and vision assessment Conduct diagnostic tests such as: Auto-refraction Keratometry Tonometry Assist ophthalmologists during OPD and pre/post-operative evaluations Handle

pre-operative workups

for cataract, refractive, and other eye surgeries Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and use of corrective lenses Maintain accurate and timely

clinical documentation

Ensure proper use and maintenance of ophthalmic equipment Coordinate with counselling, OT, and front desk teams for smooth patient flow Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and ethical clinical practices

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in

Optometry

Valid registration (where applicable) Minimum

1-3 years of clinical experience

preferred (freshers may apply) Good knowledge of ophthalmic instruments and diagnostics Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patient-centric attitude with attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
