Job Title: Tele - Optometrist (Monitoring)

Location: Delhi

Reporting to: Sr Tele - Optometrist

Job Type: Full-time/Contractual

Engagement Period: Depending on the duration of the program cycle

Role Overview

The Tele-Optometrist will play a crucial role in monitoring the vision screening process under the guidance of Sr Tele - Optometrist. This position will oversee the remote eye-testing operations, support on-ground teams and ensure proper disbursement of spectacles to truck drivers as per prescription at various campsites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vision Screening & Monitoring

Oversee the tele-optometry vision testing process and ensure accuracy in screening
results.

Guide field optometrists in conducting eye exams and refraction assessments. Monitor symptoms and test results to ensure proper diagnosis.
2. Medical Protocol & Quality Assurance

Ensure standard medical protocols and best practices are followed in vision testing. Review and validate prescriptions to ensure corrective lenses are accurately assigned. Maintain quality control in spectacle prescription and fitting procedures.
3. Prescription Validation & Spectacle Disbursement

Verify and approve prescriptions before spectacles are dispensed. Ensure that each driver receives the correct lenses as per their diagnosis. Oversee the inventory and logistics of spectacle distribution.
5. Data Recording & Reporting

Maintain detailed records of vision tests, prescriptions and disbursements. Analyse vision screening outcomes and provide insights for program improvement. Ensure compliance with data management standards for healthcare reporting.
Key Outcomes Expected:

100% accuracy in vision prescriptions and spectacle disbursement. Strict adherence to medical protocols in vision screening. Seamless tele-consultation and support for on-ground teams. Right lenses as per prescription with cross validation. Comprehensive data recording and analysis for program evaluation.
Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / bachelor's in optometry from a recognized institution. 3+ years of experience in vision care, with tele-optometry exposure preferred. Strong expertise in vision screening, refraction and spectacle prescription.
Compensation: INR 30,000/- 40,000/- pm
