Job Summary:

As an Optical Technician (Fitter) at Edimannickal Edge Opticals, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible care and products. You'll work closely with our optometrists and other team members to provide exceptional service, fit and dispense eyewear, and maintain our optical laboratory.

Responsibilities:

- Fit and dispense eyewear, including glasses and contact lenses, to customers

- Take precise measurements to ensure accurate fitting of eyewear

- Adjust and repair eyewear to meet customer needs

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards

- Collaborate with optometrists and other team members to provide excellent customer care

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in optical technology preferred

- Previous experience as an optical technician or fitter; experience with contact lenses is a plus

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with optical software and equipment
