The Optical Sales Executive is responsible for assisting customers in selecting eyewear products, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring optimal sales performance. This role involves product knowledge, visual merchandising, order processing, and after-sales service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them in choosing suitable frames, lenses, and optical products based on prescription and preferences.
Understand customer needs and provide professional advice on lens types, coatings, and frame selection.
Ensure accurate billing and documentation of sales transactions.
Coordinate with the optometrist for prescription verification and fitting adjustments.
Maintain and update product displays, ensuring visual appeal and stock organization.
Track customer orders and follow up on deliveries or pending jobs.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales service efficiently.
Keep up-to-date with new product launches, trends, and technological upgrades.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the optical outlet.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in optical sales or retail eyewear.
Knowledge of different types of lenses (single vision, bifocal, progressive) and frames.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge and experience with billing or POS systems.
Pleasant personality and professional appearance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple customers.
