Position: Marketing Specialist Community Department: Marketing Team Location: Noida (Work from Office) About the Role: We're looking for a passionate Community Marketing Specialist who can be the face and voice of OpsTree and BuildPiper across digital communities, developer ecosystems, and tech forums. This role is about more than just engagement-it's about building trust, sparking conversations, and cultivating meaningful relationships that drive product awareness, advocacy, and influence. Key Responsibilities:1. Community Engagement & Growth:- Own and grow OpsTree's presence in developer and DevOps communities (Slack, Discord, Reddit, Stack Overflow, GitHub, LinkedIn groups, etc.). - Engage regularly with GCC, ISV, and Indian enterprise tech circles. - Identify, join, and contribute to relevant online/offline forums and discussions. 2. Content & Thought Leadership:- Partner with Decision makers and senior developers, create how-tos, and use-case driven content that resonates with DevOps engineers, platform teams, and CTOs. - Support in creating community-focused editions of newsletters, technical deep-dives, and event recaps. 3. Event Execution:- Organize and promote tech meetups, workshops, webinars, and roundtables-both in-person and virtual. - Collaborate with cloud partners (e.g., AWS, GCP) on community-led events. Advocacy & Open Source:- Drive engagement around our GitHub repos, open-source contributions, and developer incentives. - Identify and nurture brand advocates and community champions within target verticals. 4. Campaign & Collaboration:- Support GTM and product marketing teams by aligning community insights with campaign goals. - Provide feedback to internal teams based on developer sentiment, trends, and challenges observed in communities. Skills & Qualifications:- 1-2 years of experience in community marketing, developer relations, or ecosystem engagement. - Decent understanding of DevOps, cloud-native, or developer tools ecosystems. - Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. - Experience with GitHub, Discord, Reddit, Slack channels, and virtual event tools. - Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Engineering). - Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or tech services firm is a plus.
