Spandana Hospital is seeking a Junior Ophthalmologist to join our healthcare team in Bangalore. This full-time position requires one to three years of relevant experience. Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in ophthalmic examination is highly essential to confidently diagnose and treat eye disorders. (Mandatory skill)
  • Skilled in slit-lamp biomicroscopy to closely observe the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. (Mandatory skill)
  • Proficiency in visual acuity testing is crucial for evaluating the sharpness of a patient's vision accurately. (Mandatory skill)
  • Thorough understanding of fundus examination techniques to assess the condition of the retina and the vitreous.
  • Ability to perform refraction assessment with accuracy to prescribe lenses that correct refractive errors.
  • Experience in laser eye surgery to perform corrective procedures effectively and safely.
  • Capable of carrying out minor procedures with precision in outpatient settings.
  • Knowledgeable in surgical ophthalmology to manage and treat various eye surgeries with expertise.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and evaluate visual problems or diseases.
  • Prescribe appropriate corrective lenses and recommend treatments for eye conditions.
