Qualification :

Candidate should have Diploma / Degree Ophthalmic Technology from a recognized Institute/University.

Experience :

Preference shall be given to candidates having one year experience.

:-

Assist in all OPD procedures including: Refraction, Retinoscopy, Contact lens fitting and handling, Perimetry (visual field analysis), OCT imaging, Assisting in laser treatments, Assisting in Minor OT procedures, Assisting in Fundus Fluorescein Angiography (FFA) Maintain and calibrate all diagnostic and ophthalmic equipment in the OPD and ensure the Operation Theatre (OT) is always clean and ready for use and autoclave all surgical instruments as per protocol (temperature, pressure, duration). Clean all surgical instruments and equipment after procedures before leaving the OT, and ensure surgical linen (gowns, masks, caps, drapes) is clean, available, and ready for use. Handle the collection and dispatch of used linen to the laundry and its return and pack linen, transport to CSSD for sterilization, and ensure its timely return, and maintain all OT equipment as per safety and usage protocols. Attend emergency cases during on-call duty hours and prepare surgical materials (eye pads, gauze, swabs) for all procedures and assist during surgery by: - Preparing the patient, Administering peribulbar blocks (if trained and authorized) and verifying patient identity, correct eye, and procedure (Right Patient / Right Eye / Right Surgery). Support mobile eye camps by helping with screenings, diagnostics, and minor procedures
