Machine Operator

requires setting up and operating production machinery, monitoring for efficiency and quality, performing basic maintenance and cleaning, and ensuring all safety procedures are followed. Key duties include troubleshooting malfunctions, documenting production data, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a clean work environment. Essential skills involve mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Machine Setup & Operation:

Set up and adjust machinery according to specifications, work orders, and blueprints to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Monitoring & Adjustment: Continuously monitor machine performance during operation, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards and production targets.

Quality Control: Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality, performing visual checks and using measuring instruments to ensure they meet predetermined tolerances.

Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent malfunctions.

Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinating with maintenance teams for larger repairs or calling in specialists as needed.

Documentation: Record production data, maintain logs, and report any issues, deviations, or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.

Safety & Housekeeping: Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company procedures, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Skills & Qualifications

Mechanical Aptitude:

A strong understanding of how machinery works and the ability to perform minor adjustments.

Attention to Detail: The ability to closely monitor processes and inspect products for defects and adherence to specifications.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and operating various measuring tools like vernier calipers and scales.

Safety Awareness: A commitment to following safety protocols and understanding the importance of safety features on machinery.

Communication: Clear communication skills to report issues, document data, and work effectively with supervisors and maintenance teams.

Teamwork: The ability to work cooperatively with other operators and support a positive team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
