Operate and monitor the complete Production, including:
preparation tanks
High-pressure homogenizer
Heat exchanger / pasteurizer
Holding Pipes
Spray dryer (feed system, atomizer/nozzle, air heater, cyclone, bag filter)
Cooling and milling system
Should be able to operate the plant manually and on PLC.
Maintain stable feed solids, viscosity, and temperature to the spray dryer.
Adjust parameters such as:
Inlet air temperature
Outlet temperature
Atomization pressure / wheel speed
Feed rate
Air flow rate

B. Spray Drying Expertise (Critical)
Experience in operating industrial spray dryers (food grade preferred).
Ability to troubleshoot:
Wall sticking
Powder scorching
Agglomeration issues
Low bulk density
Poor solubility / functionality
High fines or cyclone losses

Ensure proper fluidization and powder discharge.
Manage bag filter differential pressure and cleaning cycles.
C. Quality Control
Check and maintain:
Moisture content of final Product
Bulk density

Take in-process samples and coordinate with QC lab.
Report breakdowns promptly and assist maintenance team.
F. Documentation
Maintain shift logs including:
Feed
Inlet/outlet temperatures
Dryer pressure drop
Production rate
Downtime reasons
Cleaning records
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
4-5 years' experience in spray drying operations (food/chemical/dairy preferred).
Hands-on experience with pasteurization.
Ability to work in rotating shifts.
Preferred
Experience Skimmed Milk Powder (SMP),Whey, Dairy, or Plant Protein drying.
PLC/DCS familiarity.
Basic understanding of protein functionality and process impact.
