Job Summary:

The Mechanized Street Sweeper Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining road sweeping vehicles and cleaning equipment to ensure streets, roads, and public areas are clean and free from debris. The operator must perform duties safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and municipal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate mechanized street sweeping vehicles and related cleaning equipment. Clean streets, parking areas, and construction zones as per assigned schedules. Inspect sweeping vehicles before and after use to ensure safe operation. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil, fuel, water, and tire pressure. Empty debris hoppers and dispose of collected waste in designated areas. Report any mechanical faults, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor. Follow route maps and work orders provided by the supervisor or dispatcher. Maintain records of work performed, routes covered, and fuel used. Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and traffic regulations. Assist in cleaning and washing the sweeper vehicle after operations.

Requirements:

Minimum

5 years of experience

operating mechanized street sweepers or similar equipment. Valid

Heavy Vehicle / Equipment Operator License

. Knowledge of road safety and municipal cleanliness standards. Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills for minor maintenance. Ability to work independently and follow operational schedules. Basic English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage). Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor environments.
