The opportunity

• Assigning daily tasks to production technicians pertaining to manufacturing of encapsulated products, while completing manufacturing documentation per approved procedures. Includes reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy per established timelines

• Act as qualified trainer of those with less experience. Conduct in-direct supervision of others in the team.
• Provides input into annual performance evaluations of production technicians as applicable. Investigate and resolve problems. Clear and concise communication to Process Lead and Supervision
• Extensive equipment knowledge to perform trouble shooting and root cause analysis. Develops solutions to complex problems requiring resourcefulness and creativity/innovation and ensures solutions are consistent with organization\xe2\x80\x99s objectives.
• Work is performed without appreciable direction while exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
• Good organizational skills, basic first-line management skills for daily operation, situational Leadership and decision-making skills.
• Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards including expert knowledge of cGMP standards, and the current Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)
• Coordination of production tasks to meet assigned schedule.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Computer proficiency with knowledge of automated systems (i.e. ERP) preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Required to routinely wear personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, powered air purifying respirator, gloves, etc

Your experience and qualifications

BE/ B. Tech. Chemical: 3-5+ years of experience
