B.Sc. (Chemistry)

or equivalent degree.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years

of experience in the

Production Department

of a

Chemical Industry

.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor plant equipment and machinery as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Handle chemical charging, process monitoring, sampling, and recording of process parameters. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the assigned production area. Assist in batch preparation, raw material handling, and packaging activities. Report any abnormalities or deviations to the Production Supervisor / Shift In-charge. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental norms during all operations. Maintain production logs and process records accurately. Support preventive maintenance activities and coordinate with the maintenance team when required. Participate in safety drills and follow PPE and safety instructions strictly. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in plant operations.

Skills & Competencies:

Sound knowledge of chemical processes and plant operations. Familiarity with process control instruments and safety protocols. Ability to follow instructions and work in a team. Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility. Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
