Job Title: Operations Engineer

Experience: 6-9 YearsLocation: BangaloreWork Mode: Onsite/Hybrid (as applicable)Availability: Weekend On-call Support (Primary Requirement)



Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Operations Engineer with strong hands-on experience in cloud-based infrastructure monitoring, automation, and incident management. The ideal candidate should be flexible to work in a 24x7 environment and available for weekend on-call support as part of operational readiness.



Key Responsibilities:



. Monitor and support production and non-production environments across multiple platforms.

. Handle incident triage, resolution, and escalation using tools such as ServiceNow and Datadog.

. Execute and manage scheduled jobs using Control-M, Autosys, or Airflow.

. Troubleshoot system, application, and database issues efficiently.

. Develop automation scripts using Python or Shell scripting to improve operational efficiency.

. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability and uptime.

. Maintain observability through dashboards and alerts using Splunk and Grafana.

. Support and maintain data pipelines and integrations involving AWS and Snowflake.





Technical Skills Required:



. Cloud: AWS (SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, EKS)

. Databases: PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Snowflake

. Schedulers: Control-M / Autosys / Airflow

. Monitoring & Alerting: Datadog, Splunk, Grafana

. Ticketing & ITSM: ServiceNow

. Scripting: Python / Shell scripting

. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

. Willingness to work in rotational shifts and provide on-call support during weekends.



Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps tools will be an added advantage
