Job Summary
The Operations & Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the manufacturing unit while driving sales performance and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role involves coordinating between production, sales, and support teams to ensure smooth operations, timely order fulfillment, and achievement of business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
Manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing unit to ensure efficient production and workflow.
Plan and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.
Monitor quality standards, productivity, and cost control.
Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and logistics for uninterrupted operations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Identify new customers and business opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat orders.
Prepare quotations, costing, pricing, and negotiate commercial terms.
Coordinate internally to ensure customer requirements are met accurately.
Order & Customer Management
Act as the main point of contact between customers and the manufacturing unit.
Ensure smooth execution of orders from confirmation to delivery.
Handle customer queries, feedback, and issue resolution.
Team & Reporting
Lead and manage operations and sales teams.
Set targets, monitor performance, and guide team members.
Prepare MIS and performance reports for management review.
