Roles & Responsibilities
Manage
end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations
on a day-to-day basis
Plan and execute
inbound and outbound transportation
activities
Coordinate with
transporters, warehouse teams, and third-party logistics providers
Monitor
inventory levels, dispatch schedules, and delivery timelines
Ensure
on-time delivery
while maintaining cost and quality standards
Track and analyze
operational KPIs
such as turnaround time, freight cost, inventory accuracy, and service levels
Implement and follow
SOPs, process controls, and operational best practices
Identify and resolve
operational issues and supply chain disruptions
(delays, weather impact, route constraints, etc.)
Support
cost optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with
safety, statutory, and company policies
Prepare
operational reports
and share regular updates with management
Lead, guide, and coordinate with operations staff and site teams
Work closely with procurement, finance, sales, and production teams for smooth operations
Required Skills & Knowledge
Strong understanding of
logistics operations and supply chain management
Hands-on experience in
transport planning, inventory control, and warehouse coordination
Ability to manage
vendors and negotiate operational terms
Working knowledge of
ERP / logistics tracking systems
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Good communication and team coordination abilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations
MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Relevant certifications are a plus
