Role Overview
The Operations Manager / Team Lead will oversee and optimize day-to-day operational processes to ensure efficient service delivery, cross-functional alignment, and scalability. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence, improving workflows, managing teams, and supporting leadership in achieving organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's vision and business objectives
Ensure seamless coordination across departments including Digital Marketing, Sales, HR, and Finance
Establish, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all functions
Identify process gaps and bottlenecks; implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
Lead process improvement initiatives using appropriate tools and methodologies
Monitor operational performance through KPIs and dashboards
Introduce automation and digital tools to improve workflow efficiency
Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and operational teams
Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
Conduct regular team reviews and performance assessments
Manage resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization
Oversee project planning and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and quality standards
Develop and manage risk mitigation strategies for operational continuity
Prepare, manage, and monitor the operational budget
Track costs and implement measures to improve profitability and reduce inefficiencies
Act as the key operational representative in management and review meetings
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role
Prior experience in media, creative, digital marketing, or advertising agencies preferred
Strong leadership, project management, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel)
Working knowledge of Zoho Books (added advantage)
Experience with operations tools and project tracking systems
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
High attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
