Akoya Hotels, a leader in luxury hospitality, is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the daily operational activities of our hotel. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, and driving operational efficiency across all departments, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a strong background in hotel management, a passion for service excellence, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Guest Experience:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of all hotel departments to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery.
Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to continuously improve service quality and guest reviews.
Resolve guest issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner, empowering staff to do the same.
Ensure all hotel facilities are well-maintained, clean, and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise department heads and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth.
Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
Lead daily briefings and departmental meetings to align teams with hotel goals and service standards.
Financial Management:
Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets and monitor performance against financial targets.
Analyze operational costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability without compromising service quality.
Manage inventory and procurement processes for operational supplies, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
Generate and present regular reports on key operational metrics to the General Manager.
Strategic Planning & Quality Control:
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives for hotel growth and improvement.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain brand consistency and quality.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to keep Akoya Hotels competitive and innovative.
Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry.
Proven track record of managing multiple departments and leading a large team.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and P&L analysis.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Hotel Administrator).
Experience with hotel management software (PMS, POS, etc.).
Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
